I have had used their Anti-malware program for years and has always helped me to get rid of the virus or viruses. Never failed me yet. The free program is only a virus scanner, that can not schedule a scan or block viruses. The full version, which is only $24 has the ability to enable protection mode, which will protect your computer from viruses. I recommend Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to everyone. Purchase your copy today.

Anti-Virus 2010 is a new malware virus program out there that is very bruteful in its force. One of my friends obtained this malware program on their computer, it took me a couple of hours to clean their computer of it and get it back to normal.

The steps I did to get rid of Anti Virus 2010:

Step 1. I tried to run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on their computer. I could not run any antivirus programs, command, task manager, or virtually any other executibles. AV2010 was blocking any executibles to run; however, I did notice that it was allowing one prorgam to run, 'iexplore.exe' (Internet Explorer) to download more viruses.

Step 2. I then copied command onto desktop, re-named it 'iexplore.exe'. tried the tskkill command, but Anti Virus 2010 was not letting that command execute. - Failed attempt.

Step 3. I copied Task Manager to the desktop and renamed that to 'iexplore.exe'. I was able to run it and kill the Anti Virus 2010 program. Ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, restarted the machine. Updated Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, ran a complete scan again, rebooted the machine. I ran another scan and it didn't come up with anything. They have had no problems since then.

Step 4. They now backup their computer by ASM-FTP.
